Aller möglichen Persönlichkeiten wird bei uns hier im Siegerland gedacht — und ich habe auch nichts dagegen!

Aber immer wieder muß man erfahren, daß unser Stilling zuhause in seiner Heimat ein Unbekannter geworden ist. Leider!

Wäre da nicht das Krankenhaus und verschiedene Straßen nach ihm benannt, so wäre sicher auch der Namen heute so gut wie ganz vergessen.

Um so erfeulicher finde ich es, daß die Ev. Studierendengemeinde einem ausgewiesenen Kenner von Jung-Stilling Gelegenheit gibt, unseren Landsmann jungen Akademikern vorzustellen.

Weitere Vorträge dieser Art in heimischen Vereinen könnten dazu führen, daß auch die weltweit bekannte “Lebensgeschichte” wieder gelesen wird.
